A Beacon of Light and Hope to a Lost and Dying World.

“For no one can lay any other foundation than the one we already have – Jesus Christ”
~1 Corinthians 3:11

About God
We believe that there is one God, Creator and Sustainer of all things. He is completely perfect and exists eternally in three persons as God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. While these three are one in essence, they are distinct in person and function. God is completely perfect and can only be approached through the blood of Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19, 1 Corinthians 8:6)

About Jesus
We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God and is God. He took upon Himself our nature, being conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sins of the world; He arose from the dead in bodily form. He has ascended into heaven where He has been glorified. He now sits at the right hand of God the Father as our High Priest where He is interceding on our behalf. (Colossians 1:15; Philippians 2:5-8; Matthew 1:18-25; 1 Peter 2:24-25; Hebrews 4:14-16)

About the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ and draws people to Him. He not only convicts but also regenerates sinners at the point of conversion. He also indwells and equips believers to live Christ-like as He helps them to do the work of the Kingdom. The Holy Spirit is the one that equips believers with certain and specific gifts for ministry. (Acts 1:8; Acts 4:31; 1 Thessalonians 1:5-8; Titus 3:5)

About Salvation
The only way of salvation is through the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ. This gift is received by faith through confession, repentance and baptism. Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except through Him. (Acts 2:38; John 3:3; John 14:6; Acts 13:38; John 3:16)

About the Bible
We believe the Bible, including the Old and New Testaments to be the inerrant Word of God of which the original manuscripts were inspired by the Holy Spirit. It is the Word we should live by and our faith should be guided by. As such it is useful for correction and training in righteousness. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

About the Church
We believe the Church is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to a lost and dying world. The local church is led by Elders and Deacons which are appointed by the congregation. The local church fulfills their part of the Great Commission by preaching Jesus Christ crucified and resurrected to their community. (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Matthew 28:19-20)

About Baptism
Baptism is the immersion of a penitent believer for the forgiveness of sins and to identify with the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Baptism by itself does not save but is part of the salvation process as taught and demonstrated in the Bible. (Acts 2:38-41; Romans 6:4; Colossians 2:12; 1 Peter 3:21)

About Communion
The Lord’s Supper is the commemoration of Christ’s death and should be partaken with reverence. We partake weekly as was the custom of the early church. (Acts 2:42; Luke 22:19)
